The Sustainability Office at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg has a vacancy for a research assistant (m/f/d) in the research project "Sustainable transformation paths to climate neutrality with planning cells and real laboratories" - KlimaPlanReal.
In the KlimaPlanReal project, new forms of initiating and supporting transformation processes at universities are being used and investigated in order to strengthen and accelerate transformation processes towards climate neutrality. To this end, a university climate council (planning cell method) was set up at each university following a status quo analysis. Recommendations were developed in these councils, from which prioritized sub-projects for transfer laboratories (real-world laboratories method) were designed. Participatory instruments are also used here, for example transformation teams are formed to implement the transfer labs together with practice partners, identify obstacles and develop ways to overcome them.
Recruitment requirements:
- Interest and knowledge in/about sustainability and climate protection (at universities)
- Interest in communication and public relations work on sustainability issues
- Skills in using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Skills in using software for creating publications and surveys (e.g. LaTex, LimeSurvey, etc.) are advantageous
- Ability to work in a team & (time) flexibility
- Creativity and initiative
- Confident in German and English (written and spoken)
Tasks:
- Support for the meetings of participants in the transfer lab (event organization)
- Research activities on the measures of the transfer labs and on transfer research (planning cells, real-world labs)
- Assistance with other activities that arise in the course of the project
- Support for science communication (website, Instagram, etc.)
Due to the event organization, it is necessary to be in Magdeburg regularly for the advertised position.
