Transformation research

TrafoForschung

Throughout the entire project duration, transformation research is carried out, which formatively evaluates the transformation processes at all universities in order to integrate findings already gained during the project into the ongoing transformation process, as well as to evaluate the effects of the deliberative process across the board and also record external impact factors. The deliberative process is coordinated and accompanied by environmental psychology in order to work out the influence of trust, collective experience of effectiveness, etc. of the participants in the university climate councils and transfer laboratories on climate protection measures and the climate-neutral transformation at universities. The transformation process is strengthened through networking and the transfer of competencies, reflected in a coordinated manner, and structures are created for sustained cooperation.

The focus here is on the following measures, among others:

  • Developing and conducting an (online) survey to evaluate the impact of participation in the university climate councils.
  • Ensuring the comparability of the university climate council processes at the universities and defining the impact indicators
  • Accompanying the transfer labs - competence transfer, coordinated reflection on the transformation concepts
  • Steering of reflection and bundling of the results of the transfer labs
  • Evaluation of the internal effects
